The Objectives of the Data Recapture Exercise include:

  • To obtain complete and accurate data of all RSA holders (both active and retired)
  • To obtain the National Identity Numbers (NIN) of all RSA holders.
  • It is a platform for the collation of relevant information on employees of Federal and State Government Treasury Funded MDAs who transited from the erstwhile defined benefit Scheme to the contributory pension scheme.
  • It would enable the identification and elimination of multiple registrations.
  • It also creates the minimum standard for PFAs in generating PIN numbers for fresh registration.

 

PUBLIC SECTOR – LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR DATA RECAPTURE 

  • Letter of Employment.
  • Staff Identity Card or Permanent Voter’s Card or International Passport or Drivers License.
  • White background passport photograph
  • Transfer and Acceptance of Service (where applicable)
  • Letter of First Appointment
  • Attestation Letter (in the case of Police Personnel)
  • Promotion Letter and Pay Slip indicating Grade Level and Step as at 30 June 2004 (where applicable).
  • Promotion Letter and Pay Slip indicating Grade Level and Step as at January 2007 (where applicable).
  • Promotion Letter and Pay Slip indicating Grade Level and Step as at July 2010 (where applicable).
  • Promotion Letter and Pay Slip indicating Grade Level and Step as at December 2013 (where applicable).
  • Promotion Letter and Pay Slip indicating Grade Level and Step as at December 2016 (where applicable).
  • Promotion Letter and Pay Slip indicating current Grade Level and Step (where applicable).
  • National Identity Card or Enrolment Slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission, indicating the National Identity Number (NIN). The USSD, *346# can be used to obtain an individual’s NIN from MTN and Airtel mobile networks.

 

PRIVATE SECTOR – LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR DATA RECAPTURE.

  • Letter of Employment or Letter of Appointment
  • Letter of First Appointment or Attestation Letter (in the case of employees of the Public Sector Treasury-Funded Agencies and Police Personnel, respectively)
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • One Passport Photograph on white background
  • Staff Identity Card or Permanent Voter’s Card or International Passport or Driver’s License.
  • National Identity Card or Enrolment Slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission, indicating the National Identity Number (NIN). The USSD, *346# can be used to obtain an individual’s NIN from MTN and Airtel mobile networks.
